We visited as a group of 13 and had a beautiful view from our table, with plenty of space for everyone. The food was delicious across the group, and the service was great. Gorgeous pub, thank you!

We had a lovely meal at the Gateway today, with delicious food and superb service. The staff were friendly and attentive. There’s good disabled parking and easy access to the hotel, and the outside seating is very good on a nice day. Would definitely recommend.

Our room was small but very clean and comfortable, with a lovely modern bathroom. The bed was super comfortable, and there was a lovely welcome pack waiting for our dog. We had supper in the restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. Fantastic stay at the gateway inn. I’d definitely come back, thanks for having us.

The food was really good, well cooked and nicely presented, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stopped in for an evening Sunday roast and got a lovely table by the window. The only slight shame was the choice of meat: there were two kinds of beef or ham, with no white meat option. That’s just my preference, though.

The Sunday dinner was spot on, but the extras were disappointing. Extra gravy cost £2.50, and booking through the website charged £10 to “guarantee your chosen table time”. The pub was very quiet when we arrived during peak hours, so I’d just turn up and save the £10.
