10/10
The room was basic and on the small side, but it was clean, good value, and had thoughtful extras like a coffee machine. I only stayed one night, and it turned into a lovely evening. The inn has that cosy stone-and-real-fire feel, with the warmth of a local pub and friendly regulars. Staff were down to earth and welcoming, and the hearty home-cooked food made it feel like a hidden gem.

You get really good food for a fair price.

We popped in for a bite and were seriously impressed. The homemade burger came with homemade sauces, and the food was amazing. Couldn't fault it, highly recommend.

I saw what looked like a manager verbally abusing staff, which made an already hostile atmosphere feel even worse. The bar service was terrible too. I won't spend my money somewhere that feels so negative.

A relaxed, friendly atmosphere, with welcoming staff and an excellent meal. I'll definitely be back.
