ibis budget Leeds Centre Royal Armouries Museum

The pizza is amazing, definitely order one. We had two rooms, and the heating worked well in one but not at all in the other. That maintenance issue was a real downside, though the staff did everything they could to help and gave us another room right next to ours. The employees were smiling, helpful, and doing their best to make up for the problems at IBIS Budget. They deserve an extra star for the service. Thanks, guys.

The view was very nice, and the room itself is good value if that's all you need. It's also very close to the city centre. I asked before paying to remove breakfast from the booking, but was told that wasn't possible, so I went down reluctantly. The selection was disappointing and limited to cereal, fruit, pastries, and drinks, with no hot food. The man at the counter said nothing as I walked by, then stopped me while I was getting food to say breakfast wasn't included. I later saw that it actually was. The skirting boards could use paint, and my key card stopped working 20 minutes before checkout, so I had to get it reactivated to collect my luggage.

We found a clean room with fresh bedding, which was more than I expected for such a cheap one-night stay. It was roomy enough for basic needs, and the friendly reception staff made check-in quick and easy. My son loved the city centre view during our birthday trip. We were staying there so we could catch a coach from Leeds Bus Station early the next morning, and the location worked really well. It was a great start to the trip for both of us.

I was on the 7th floor and was asked if I was comfortable with heights. The room was modern, clean, and had enough for a short stay, though this is a no-frills hotel and there was no kettle. Free toiletries were provided, and there were snack machines and a continental breakfast downstairs. The welcome was friendly. I pre-booked parking at NCP, a 5-10 minute walk away, for £15 a day. The central Leeds location is good, and booking ahead gets you great rates.
