Sue and Gary made us feel so comfortable during our lovely few days at Laurel Bank Guest house. They were wonderful hosts and always happy to help. The room was clean, comfortable and lovely, and breakfast was first class. Gary also knew loads about the walks nearby. Thanks again, we’ll definitely visit again x

Gary was a great source of walking routes and local tips, including suggestions for our dog, and made our outings even better. The B&B is quietly tucked away but only a short walk from Keswick town centre, which suited us perfectly. We had a lovely three-night stay and were warmly welcomed by Gary, Sue and their friendly dogs. Breakfast was a real highlight every morning, thanks, Gary! We’d happily recommend the place and hope to come back. Thanks from Laura, James and Luna 🐶

Getting around was easy from here. We took the buses and got to see so much more from the top. Our hosts were lovely and gave us plenty of information about the area. The food was delicious, and the rooms were clean, with comfy beds and plenty on the tea tray. It’s dog friendly, and I’d definitely urge people to stay.

By the end of our four nights at Laurel Bank, it felt like we’d been visiting friends, and I was sorry to leave. Gary and Sue welcomed me when I arrived, and Gary had plenty of information about local places to see and walks. My room was clean and comfortable, with an en suite and tea and coffee facilities. The full English breakfast was the best part of every morning. I’d highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to visit Keswick and Gary and Sue again.

After a long hike, the comfortable room had everything we needed. Gary and Sue were attentive hosts, and the English breakfast was delicious. It’s a great B&B in an ideal spot, with picturesque trails nearby. Gary also gave us good advice about what to see. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
