Perky Pike is a lovely place, just a couple of minutes on foot from the centre of Keswick. Jude greeted me when I arrived and was very friendly. The room was spotless and had everything I needed. I was in town for a running event and had an early start, so the compact kitchenette was a clever setup with all I needed to make a decent breakfast. I didn't sleep well during the stay because a dog barked persistently into the early hours of Saturday and woke me again early Sunday. Maybe I was just unlucky, as no other reviews mention it. Even so, it's a lovely place with what you need for a short stay in a beautiful part of the world.

Jude went out of her way to make the apartment comfortable, with lots of thoughtful little touches that made it feel like home. It was also very reasonably priced and brilliantly located, about a five minute walk into town. This was my first stay here, but it won't be the last. Highly recommended!

Jude is a lovely owner, and this is the best B n B I've stayed in. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom and top quality toiletries. Breakfast was tasty and served in the room, which made for a relaxing start. The listing says breakfast is served in the room, so if that's not for you, book somewhere else rather than moaning about it. Frank the labrador sometimes greets you at the door and is very friendly. I'd gladly return, hopefully next year when it's warmer.

The Perky Pike is a real gem. We came back from our two night stay feeling completely at home, and Jude was an amazing host. Our room was wonderful, with everything top quality. We can't wait to go back. Thanks so much, Jude.

Jude was so friendly and chatty, and the breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. The B&B is about a five minute walk from the centre. During our Lake District holiday, this was the best accommodation we had. Our room was bright and spacious, with plenty of storage space. We'd definitely come back.
