The roast dinner was fantastic, with generous portions, and everyone was really friendly. I called just five minutes before we arrived with a party of eight, after looking for a local pub serving food all day. They were happy to fit us in, which we really appreciated.

We had a meal with a large group on Friday and it all went smoothly. The food was excellent, and Julie and the staff took such good care of us throughout our weekend stay. Thanks again!

Our last minute weekend at The Bluebell Inn turned out to be just perfect. The rooms were cosy, the food was amazing, and the staff were superb from booking through checkout, especially Alison. Dogs are very welcome here.

The one thing I’d change is the mattress in room 3. It really needs replacing, as other guests have mentioned. The room itself was very clean and nicely appointed, and being at the back of the pub meant it was quiet. As a solo traveller, I had a great stay and the friendly, attentive staff looked after me well. Breakfast was excellent, and the evening menu had a varied, outstanding selection. Thank you for a memorable visit.

The pies were delicious, and after switching mine to the chicken supreme, I was very glad I did. That peppercorn sauce may be the best I’ve had. The lady serving was welcoming even with the pub so busy, and the service was amazing. I’ll definitely be back.
