Premier Inn Kilmarnock

The restaurant service and food, the rooms, cleanliness and facilities were all great. What really stood out, though, was the Reception staff working the night of 21 Nov and the morning of 22 Nov. They were so warm, helpful and kind. Thank you for such great Scottish hospitality!

The heating made so much noise it kept me awake until we turned it off. It was a cold night, so we needed the heat. There was also some early morning noise from the floor above. The room itself was basic, and I wouldn’t stay again.

There’s no air conditioning, and the only heating in the dated Premier Inn room was an electric wall heater. The staff, though, were always pleasant, welcoming and helpful. I didn’t try the food at the pub next door, as the standard menu of chicken or beef, all with chips, didn’t appeal to me.

The staff were really friendly and the place itself was nice, but the phone reception was poor on every network and the wifi was awful. I tried their premium wifi too, but none of the codes I was given worked, and the desk staff member didn’t know how to fix it. I had to go into town to get reception. Other guests had the same trouble, and it sounded like a common problem people had reported. A family member also found their car keyed in the car park.
