Tennant Arms Hotel

Handy base for an adventure in Yorkshire. Breakfast is continental, with toast, cereal, porridge, tea, coffee and fruit juice. It was decent and did the job, though the selection may feel limited if you're expecting a bigger breakfast. The hallway can also get a little noisy if you're planning an early start.

We were staying around the corner, not at the pub, but came in for food and drinks. The location is stunning, and the staff were welcoming, really friendly and funny. The food was amazing and well worth stopping in for. I only wish we were here longer, because I could have gone there every night.

We sat by the fire in the pub with drinks before dinner, and it was lovely being around the locals. Dinner arrived promptly and was delicious, with great, friendly service from everyone. It's child and dog-friendly too. The Austen Room was clean and very spacious, with a jacuzzi bath, tea and coffee facilities and a Smart-TV. There's a staircase up to the rooms. The location is beautiful and picturesque, and on-site parking is free. Grassington, Skipton and Malham Cove are some nearby attractions. We'll definitely return.

We stopped overnight while on a cycle tour. The staff were friendly and stored our bikes safely, and the beers were nice. Across the road, there's a lovely walk to Conistone Pie, with Curlew calling and Wheatear showing well.
