We booked a tiny room with a bunk bed for two. The bed was comfy, and having a shared bathroom made it good value. The sailing club, restaurant and everything around there are really beautiful. Definitely recommended, and we'd go again.

Good value, with clean rooms and large bathrooms. The bed was extremely hard, though, and breakfast wasn't served until 9am. Who wants to wait that long to eat, especially when there are no other options nearby? The lunch and dinner menus were limited, but the food was good. There are some great walking trails close by.

The location is amazing, with stunning views across the lake to the surrounding mountains and plenty for people who love water activities. The restaurant food was tasty, including breakfast. We stayed in the one star room, which was basic, but the overall experience was top class. The lodges look really cool. I think I'll return in winter and book a lodge with a hot tub. Watching sunset over the lake and mountains from a hot tub must be amazing.

Great facilities in a nice spot, and the staff were really helpful. Our family room for five was a bit cramped, with only single beds. Breakfast was great, and ski hire was available when everywhere else had run out of equipment. The dry ski slope is free to use in the evenings if you stay more than two nights. I think guests can also use the canoes and kayaks in summer.

Insh Hall worked well as a cheaper chalet alternative for our family of four. Our room was small but manageable for three nights, and it had a private bathroom. The setting on the loch is amazing, with fantastic facilities for kids. It would be great if the hall offered some food and basic cooking facilities.
