The Lodges at Artlegarth

We've had our family break here a couple of years running and thoroughly enjoyed it each time. The lodge has plenty of room for 6 adults and a baby, and the hot tub is fabulous for relaxing while taking in those beautiful views. Jack is a wonderful host. I've just booked again for next year, and we can't wait to come back. Thank you, Jennie and Jack.

After a big walk, the roaring log fire and comfy settees are just the thing to relax by. We love these cosy, luxurious lodges tucked into the gorgeous Lake District countryside. We come back every year for our girls' weekend away, with hot tub time and chats on the agenda.

The lodge was big, spotless and well equipped, and there was a lovely surprise waiting: eggs, bread, butter, milk and even a cake. The scenery is beautiful and peaceful, with great walks nearby. We'd go back, and that hot tub was a lovely way to finish the stay.

The views were spectacular, and we had a great family weekend in these beautiful lodges. A family member recommended them and knows the owner personally, so he got in touch and we booked. The bedrooms are large, two are en suite, and the main bathroom is very spacious. There's a large hot tub at the back and a large gas barbecue. Each bedroom has a TV, and the Wi-Fi worked well for a place at the bottom of the Lake District hills. We'll definitely visit again, maybe make it an annual family trip. Well deserved 5 stars.
