We stayed in an open-plan studio with central heating, a great bathroom and a lovely kitchen. The family who run Whitestone Cottage are extremely nice, friendly and knowledgeable about local history and the area. It's tucked into the Ayrshire countryside beside Culzean Castle, with a pleasant path down to the beach. You can manage without a car since the bus stops right across the road. If the weather allows, there's an outside patio where you could have a BBQ.

Super clean and wonderfully friendly. Well done, George. I'd come back any time I'm in Scotland.

The room was a bit tight, but did exactly what I needed at a fair price. It was clean and comfortable, the beds were comfy, and I got a friendly welcome. They'd left something to eat in the morning, plus tea and coffee making facilities. Thank you.

The hosts went to incredible lengths to make things accommodating for everyone when I celebrated my birthday here. Best AirBnb experience I've had, 10/10!

The service was outstanding. They brought a fully cooked breakfast, along with cereals, fruit and yogurt, right to the cottage, so there was no need to cook. It's a wonderfully cosy wee place, though it's not very close to amenities, so bring provisions.
