We spent four nights in the en-suite double room, and Laura and Brian were wonderful hosts, warm, welcoming, considerate, and very accommodating. Along with a traditional Scottish breakfast, there were lovely extras such as warm homemade muffins, yoghurt options, and seasonal fruit. I'd highly recommend this B&B.

I've stayed several nights here twice now, and wouldn't choose anywhere else. The rooms and location are lovely, and the hosts make it feel like home, always willing to do so much for you. They even made sure my partner's veganism was taken into account.

It's quite a way out of town, though there's a bus, and it's a nice walk down to Kirkwall. The little touches made this place fab, as other reviewers have said. I especially loved getting jam in proper china pots and real Orkney butter instead of those horrid little plastic portions. Many thanks.

Laura gave us really helpful suggestions for places to visit during our three days, and we got to see so much of the beautiful Orkney Islands. We came away with lovely memories. The rooms had lovely views and were spotlessly clean, and our welcome from Laura and Michael was very warm. Breakfast was self-serve, but Laura made sure we had everything: cereal, fruit, cheese, homemade cheese scones, and juice. There were also delicious shortbread and fudge in our room fridge, plus assorted homemade biscuits in the dining area. This was the best B&B we've stayed in, and we've been to quite a few. A fantastic experience, highly recommend.
