Hampton by Hilton Humberside Airport

We’d definitely stay here again before an early flight. The staff were helpful, and the menu had a good choice with generous Yorkshire portions. A great place to stay the night before an early start.

Agnus made our stay memorable. She looked after our group so well in the restaurant, and nothing was too much trouble. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Agnus.

We spent the week here for a company training event. It’s handy for the airport, though otherwise it feels pretty isolated. The restaurant was nice, with good food, a decent selection and fair prices, and the staff were friendly. The beds and pillows were a real letdown. Eight of the 12 people in our team complained about them. The pillows were awful, and the beds felt rock hard with no cushioning. I slept badly throughout the 5 days, which made it hard to justify a Hilton being this uncomfortable. That’s why I’m giving it 4 stars, though I’d choose 3.5 if I could.

Agnes was the person who made this 5-day work stay feel less far from home. She’s the heart of the restaurant, with a kind, motherly way about her and a brilliant sense of humour. Meeting her meant a lot to me, and I hope life brings her everything she wants. Thank you for taking such good care of me. Finn was also a friendly first face, and explaining the benefits included in my work trip helped when I wasn’t sure what was covered. The hotel is remote, but the staff make it feel homely. The food was delicious, especially the chips, which were like crunchy McDonald’s ones but bigger. My room was comfortable, with hot water and heating, and the gym had everything I needed. I’d make the 4-hour trip back to stay here again. I know it’s rated 3 stars, but that feels unfair.
