Long Wood Lodges

Julie and Stuart really are the best hosts. We loved our family stay at the lodge. They’d thought of all the details, from breakfast goodies and plenty of board games to having the hot tub filled on the porch. The ecolodge is lovely and has all the amenities. The kitchen has everything you’d need and more, including a coffee machine, washer/dryer and oven, and there’s a fireplace for colder days. A great place to get away from the city, enjoy long walks and look at the stars on clear nights. There are lovely towns nearby too. Highly recommended 🤍🤍

We loved this place enough to rebook before leaving. The three nights were as relaxing as could be, and Stuart and Julie are fantastic hosts. They even prepare a welcome pack to suit your preferences. The generous log cabin was spotless and has a log burner, a fully equipped kitchen, washer/drier and dishwasher. Our favourite part was unwinding in the hot tub in the evenings while listening to the wildlife. Highly recommended. Thanks to you both, and we look forward to seeing you soon. This was our second stay at Longwood lodge, and Julie and Stuart were just as welcoming. It’s peaceful and relaxing, with amazing views, especially from the hot tub. The lodge is impressive and has everything you need. We can’t fault it, and we’ll be back next year. I recommend staying here. 10/10 😊

We spent a week here and had an excellent time. The lodge was exceptionally clean, even the hot tub looked brand new, and the owners went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They’d thought of all the little things that make self catering easier, and the lodge had everything we could want. It’s in a beautiful part of the world with amazing views. We couldn’t ask for more and plan to return soon.
