The Pudding Room

We loved how peaceful the site was, with the reservoir and its activities only a few minutes' walk one way and a pub the other. The people running it were really friendly. Our camping stay was great, and everywhere was kept clean, tidy, and free of rubbish. The showers were spacious and had plenty of hot water. We'll be back, and we'd recommend it.

The location was great, and the rooms felt spacious. It was a clean little holiday let with friendly hosts.

We spotted a sign by the road while driving to our Airbnb and decided to stop at this lovely little local place. We got there toward the end of the day and tried the white chocolate and gin cheesecake. It was delicious and so light that I could've eaten more.

There's plenty for children to play, and the campsite feels secluded. Carsington water is an easy walk away, with a pub selling good food around the corner, though it is pricey. The venue's own bakery is superb, and the owner was very obliging. The price was reasonable, with no extra charge for dogs. There are only a couple of excellent showers and four toilets, but I never had trouble getting one. The main road alongside gets very busy during the day, so it can be noisy.
