The hotel sits in a quiet, pleasant area, and the Punjabi menu was a real highlight for me: freshly made food, lots of soft and alcoholic drinks, and reasonable prices. I booked quickly for a work trip and was impressed by the lovely, well-kept hotel and restaurant. Staff were warm and professional from arrival through checkout, and the car park has plenty of space. My room looked modern and well put together, with a refurbished shower, decent TV, desk and refreshments. The free Wi-Fi didn't work for me, though. I was very happy with the stay and plan to return with my partner for a relaxed trip to Reading. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable room with a higher standard for less. It was peaceful and just right for me.

I couldn't sleep at all because an extremely loud party carried on until the early hours, and nobody mentioned it at check-in. There was no soundproofing. The rooms were awful too, with bare white walls and uncomfortable plain white bedding. Their windows look into the hallway instead of outside. I've never stayed anywhere less deserving of being called a hotel. Avoid it at all costs. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of parking, but the place is right by a busy road and was too noisy for me. The room was small and cheaply furnished. It's an Indian restaurant, not a pub, and I wouldn't stay there again.

That view out back is a lovely way to unwind after a big meal, and the whole setting at Javitri looks gorgeous, with warm lighting, comfortable seats and a relaxed feel. I ordered Dhaba Chicken with Missi Roti. The chicken had loads of flavor, and the roti was fresh off the griddle. It all tasted truly authentic and was unbeatable. This is easily the nicest restaurant I've been to lately. Amazing food, a beautiful place and a great view. I'd happily go back and will recommend it.
