Premier Inn Knutsford (mere)

Mr. George deserves a special thank you for being so kind and helpful, and for making sure everything was right during my stay. His friendly, professional manner made a real difference. My room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the hotel felt calm and well organized. From arrival, the staff were attentive and professional, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Casa Mere Hotel and would gladly recommend it. I hope to visit again.

The staff were really nice and helpful, and the stay was good value. We’re very happy to come back, since it’s exactly halfway to Scotland for us. The room was spacious and had what we needed for a short visit. The bathroom was clean, though I’m not a fan of the fixed shower head. Breakfast was fine: the cooked option was good and the continental selection adequate. It’s a shame they only had instant coffee sachets.

I’d recommend the hotel, but I wouldn’t travel there by car. We entered our car registration in the system and still got a parking fine a couple of weeks later. The letter had no contact number, so we tried calling the hotel several times a day and couldn’t get an answer. Eventually my husband got an email saying they don’t handle parking.

Breakfast was very good. George was a great host and made me some lovely scrambled eggs, and there was a nice pot of filter coffee at the bar. Check-out was smooth too. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area. I was in Knutsford for an early meeting in Altrincham, just 15 minutes away. There was plenty of parking on Sunday night, and check-in at the pub was easy with friendly staff. My modern room above the pub looked recently renovated, with plenty of space, a comfy bed, and a large bathroom with a shower. There were a few steps up, which didn’t bother me. The toilet was noisy when flushed, but that wasn’t an issue for me, and I couldn’t hear other rooms. They said they’re working on the old plumbing. After dropping off my bags, I went downstairs for a beer. The old pub had a nice choice of beers and a great atmosphere. Thanks!
