We stopped here for our first night on a road trip from London to Scotland. The Station Apartment is a fully furnished 2 BHK, right next to Carstairs station. It was very clean and had everything a family needed. There were two families, four adults and two children, and we all enjoyed our stay. A very nice apartment.

We had a great stay and felt right at home. Our host was amazing too. There are lots of nearby attractions to visit.

The apartment we rented was in unacceptable condition. The shower had black mold, the floor was extremely dirty, and the dishes, especially the glasses, were dirty. One bedroom door wouldn't shut, leaving the room uncomfortable and cold. There was a lot of dust, hair and other dirt around the bathroom vanity. The radiator in the master bedroom had come away from the wall and looked close to falling off. In the second bathroom, the bathtub's front panel was completely detached and kept falling off while we showered. The seals were in very poor shape too, so water leaked from behind the tub and flooded the whole bathroom. When we tried to resolve things amicably, the host lied and said we'd damaged a door handle. The host is dishonest and tries to intimidate guests to avoid a negative review.
