We had room to host an afternoon party for over 30 people, especially with the garden in use, and the house never felt crowded. We stayed for a week with our two children, their partners and our dog, and the place was spotless and comfortable. Thomas was friendly and always happy to help. I chose this house for a special birthday because it was near my family, while still being handy for Lancaster and the surrounding areas. I booked it two years ago and would definitely book it again. I've just recommended it to a friend, and hope she books so I can stay again!

The hosts were so friendly and easy to approach, and we had an incredible time here with our six dogs. I loved cooking on the aga.

With sheep, cows, hills and streams all around, it had everything I could want from a break. The Barn is amazing, and the hosts really know how to give you the time away you need. It's one of my five favourite places in the world.
