We spent a lovely week here with our granddaughter, who had work experience just up the road. The pictures made the cottages look close to what we assumed was a busy road, but it was very quiet. Our cottage was old and quaint, and had been renovated very nicely. The place was friendly too. Highly recommended.

Everything was supplied, and the place was just perfect, with all the equipment and kitchen basics we could need. The host's hens even provided fresh eggs, and there was bread and milk too. Hope we can visit again.

That games room kept the kids busy, and the sound system and pull-down screen were perfect for streaming our photo montage. We also made good use of the firepit. We hired the main house for my mum's 70th birthday this weekend, and the accommodation and facilities at Knapp house really impressed us. We loved every minute. Huge thanks to Mary & Sophie for looking after us so well. I'd happily recommend it and would definitely stay again.

Withy house is in a handy spot, with Tesco only a five-minute drive away. Inside, there are three double bedrooms and two toilets, and it had everything we needed. You can use the coal fire if you like, though the central heating kept things more than warm enough.

Even with a last-minute booking, the owner gave us a really warm welcome, and the caravan was ready to greet us too. Everything was spotless. In my opinion, five stars still wouldn't be enough, and I can't recommend it highly enough.
