Radstone Hotel

We both tried dishes we hadn’t ordered before, and the meal was absolutely delicious. We were too full for dessert. We live nearby, so the location works well for us. When we arrived, the hotel was exceptionally busy, with a wedding underway, a packed restaurant and a private function. There was a queue at the bar, which I don’t think I’ve ever seen before, and the bar and reservations area felt very congested. People were squeezing past with drinks trays. We had a cosy window seat, but our drinks didn’t arrive until we were nearly done with our starters. We had to check with two staff members.

The location is gorgeous, and they host weddings really well. The ceremony, meal and reception were all perfect. We stayed overnight for a wedding, and our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were focused on looking after guests. Breakfast came with the stay and was fantastic. I’d definitely stay here again.

Our Christmas meal at the Radstone was excellent. I chose turkey and asked for no gravy, which is how it arrived. They could bring gravy separately for anyone who wanted it. The food was delicious, with generous portions, and the service was very efficient. The main courses were clearly described. There were five of us, and we’ll likely visit again next Christmas. I’d highly recommend the hotel.

Dinner was really tasty and nicely presented, and breakfast was lovely too. I had a fantastic stay, with great rooms that felt luxurious and were excellent value. All the staff were friendly and helpful, a credit to the company. Many thanks, I’ll certainly be back if I’m staying in Glasgow.
