We stayed five nights as a family and found it really relaxing, like a home from home. The cottage is pet friendly, well equipped for a family holiday and set in lovely Cornish countryside, with amazing views. Richard and Tanya live nearby and were very helpful and friendly. They even left us a cream tea in the fridge for our arrival. Our only small issue was the limited freezer space. We loved the stay so much that we didn’t want to leave, and we highly recommend the property. We’ll come back in future.

We loved this cottage, and Bella the puppy was hard to overlook. It’s clean, a good size, secluded and hosted by very friendly people. We didn’t want to drive to Cornwall on a Friday or over the weekend during school holidays, so it was brilliant to find a place that could be booked from Monday. We wanted seven nights, but the weekend was already taken by the next guests when we booked, so we stayed five and drove home on Saturday. We’ll try to stay longer next time. Thank you, Richard and Tania.

We’d stayed with Richard and Tania several times at Mennabroom Farm, so we were pleased to find their new place, Blackberry Cottage, is just as high a standard. We’ll definitely book again.

A beautiful cottage with lovely grounds and furnishing. It was clean, had everything we needed, and we felt very welcome.

The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped. It’s fairly remote, but close to Launceston for shops and other things.
