A peaceful spot in the countryside, with beautiful cottages that make a great base for exploring Cornwall. The kids loved the play area and games room, and the host’s cake was just right. We’ll definitely return.

From the bedrooms, we enjoyed picturesque views of the hills, and the garden and courtyard were lovely for barbecues. The West Wing is spacious, historic accommodation, and the stay was very peaceful. It’s also centrally placed for trips to nearby towns, villages and seaside resorts. A restful holiday, highly recommended. “I will look unto the hills from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121 v 1&2

The beds were comfortable, and we found everything clean and well equipped. We had a very pleasant stay, and the Victoria sponge and milk were a welcome treat.

We had a perfect week. There was plenty of space and everything we needed in the accommodation. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, and the area was lovely and felt very safe for our toddler and dog. We enjoyed exploring the river and park. It was my first visit to Cornwall, but it won’t be my last!

There were six of us, so we rented two units. The place was beautiful, with lovely hosts and a high-end finish. We only discovered the games room late in our stay, but it was great. A lovely place to stay.
