Travelodge Leeds Bradford Airport

I've stayed here often before early flights. It's a basic, clean hotel in a great spot, only a few minutes' walk from the airport. The one drawback is the noise, which can be a problem when you're getting up at 4am.

The airport location was convenient, but the hotel had no frills at all. I bought a parking pass for an eight-hour stay, put it on the dashboard, and parked because my flight was early the next morning. They later claimed I hadn't paid, even though my bank shows the payment. I'm now disputing the charge through Budget Rental. Liars and cheats. If you stay, take a photo of your parking pass so you have proof when they try to cheat you. I left the ticket on the dash when I returned the car, unfortunately.

The room was clean and basic, just as expected, and the airport was literally across the road. There was very little noise from the planes. The receptionist who welcomed me was lovely and friendly. I think her name was India.

For a Travelodge stopover, it was well presented and great value, with the airport very close by. Rebecca at reception was outstanding. She took time to explain the food choices and room options for us older guests. Better and nearer than the fading Premier Inn nearby.
