He handled everything calmly and professionally, found the bag and arranged its return without hassle. His efficient, caring approach reflected well on the hotel and its standards. I'm very grateful for the service and would happily recommend the place.

We chose this hotel partly because our email promised discounted parking nearby. At check-in, reception said the deal had ended and there was nothing they could do. They didn't offer anyone to contact or any other options, just said the manager had told them it was no longer available. That was really frustrating. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfortable enough, but a very strong, strange smell hit as soon as we walked in and put us off, even though it looked fairly clean. We could also hear what sounded like a band downstairs, loud enough to seem like it was in the next room. One lift was out of order. The location was good and about £60 for a Friday night in central Leeds was a pretty good price, so someone else might have a better stay. I wouldn't come back after the parking and room issues.

The people at reception, a man and a woman, were friendly, lovely and efficient. I paid £75, which seemed good value against other Leeds hotels when I booked. My room was on the fourth floor at the back of the building on a Wednesday, and it was so quiet I could hear a pin drop. I'd expected noise from what I'd read, but there wasn't any this time. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and I slept really well. I'd stay again.

The room was clean and quiet, and we paid for an upgrade. Reception had a hairdryer we could borrow, and the breakfast buffet was great. The restaurant and housekeeping staff were lovely. But if you booked before 10 November 2025, the website's £9.50 parking discount is no longer offered. We only found out at checkout, after booking on 10 November, and nobody offered a refund. I got no email about the change. Parking for 24 hours is £24, and we'd have taken the train if we'd known. I've sent a complaint to Travelodge.
