The Inn was clean and homely, with good facilities, in a lovely town and a handy spot for the Peaks. The room had coffee, biscuits and a small fridge. I especially appreciated the makeup-remover flannel, so I didn't have to feel guilty using a white towel. Check-in was quick and easy, and the information booklet had useful tips for nearby food, drinks and things to do.

Morgan, the Inn Keeper, was an excellent host and shared lots of helpful advice during our week here. The Inn is immaculate, and the property is beautifully cared for in a way that shows its historic character. Breakfast was fresh and top quality. It's a peaceful place to unwind, and I look forward to seeing the garden in bloom. The gentle walk into Ridgefield takes you along Main Street, past some beautiful properties. Those five-star reviews are deserved.

We were in Leek for the night and popped in, and really enjoyed it. It's a traditional pub with excellent ales, friendly staff and customers, and very good prices.

We stayed overnight and found the clean, comfortable rooms well equipped. Accommodation is room only. The Fountain Inn is a charming, welcoming family-run pub in Leek town, full of character, with a wide choice of beers and really friendly staff. I'd happily recommend it.

We only went to the pub, but it was one of the highlights of our trip. A proper old-school place in town, clean and in great shape, with traditional seating areas and plenty of locals. The landlord was a gentleman and good to chat with, and the beer was very reasonably priced. I'd love a pub like this near home and will definitely visit again.
