Hotel Rudyard

We had a spotless, warm and comfortable room, and the beers were good too 😂. The venue looked amazing, and the food was stunning, easily five stars plus. Most of all, the team made our wedding day go perfectly, with no issues or dramas. Everyone was polite, professional and happy to help. Breakfast the next morning was top notch as well. We’d definitely come back for a short break, and I’d absolutely recommend booking your wedding here. Thank you all for the hard work!

The food at the Rudyard Hotel was the best I can remember having in a long time. Every dish, from starters through dessert, was delicious and beautifully prepared. My room was spotless and well looked after, and the new bathroom felt modern and comfortable. I’d gladly recommend staying here and would happily return.

James looked after us throughout, serving both dinner and breakfast, and was an absolute ray of sunshine. The food was fresh, lovely, rustic and made to order, with breakfast especially superb. We’d come again. Our bedroom was basic, but spotless, with nice toiletries, large fluffy towels and a super comfortable bed. We’d stopped for the night to break up a drive to the Midlands, and were glad we did. The hotel was busy when we arrived, with a lively bar full of Christmas revellers and lots of well behaved dogs, which we love seeing. We got a lovely welcome, and when I decided I’d prefer a bath, they moved us to a different room without any fuss. The restaurant next to the bar was much quieter. Thanks for having us. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the staff were really friendly. I had beef and my friend chose chicken for lunch today, and both were excellent. We were walk-ins, so I can’t speak to the rooms, but if they’re as good as lunch, they’ll be great.
