We had the best time and will definitely stay again. Breakfast was included, the rooms were clean, and there was WiFi and all the usual things, plus more. The area is lovely, and the staff were a huge help. On checkout day they let us leave our luggage in the room while we went out exploring. It seems great for families or couples.

We got there around teatime, had a couple of real ales, then enjoyed a lovely evening meal. There was plenty of choice, and our starters, mains and puddings were all splendid, with generous portions and great prices. Breakfast was super too, again with big portions and lovely staff. We’ll book again for next year. This was our fourth annual visit to the pub and accommodation, and the reason we keep coming back is the brilliant service and friendly team. There’s plenty of parking and easy access from the A1, and the rooms are clean and well presented. Thanks to everyone involved.

There were 28 of us tonight, and everyone was pleased with the food, service, atmosphere and value. The staff are lovely and couldn’t do enough for us, and no one left hungry. Everything was cooked at home to perfection. Absolutely amazing, thank you Reuben’s. I’m sure many of our group will be back.

The rooms were immaculately clean and the food was fantastic. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even keeping our 10 Landrover owners calmly in line with just the right firmness. We can’t praise the hotel enough and will definitely come back.

With good parking and a great base for exploring North Yorkshire, this worked really well for us. The room was lovely, the food was nice, and the staff were friendly. I’d definitely recommend it.
