I was drawn to their decorating style, so I booked 73princess road east, and I wasn’t disappointed. Leona at Reception is so nice and patient, and she speaks Chinese too. If you’re worried about your English, don’t worry!

The flats are beautifully decorated, and the accommodation is within walking distance of both the city centre and the railway station. The staff are kind and welcoming, almost like family. I really enjoyed staying here!

I expected a lot from this accommodation, but it’s been a huge disappointment. Something in the building always seems to be broken. The elevator keeps breaking down, and the common room TVs and cinema projector were stolen over a year ago and still haven’t been replaced. The women in the office are friendly, but they haven’t acted on complaints or fixed these problems. None of it has been resolved. I don’t think the price is worth it. De Montfort Mews and 8 West Walk have very similar rooms, but much better service and facilities that work.

There are two Asian grocery stores and a Tesco about a five-minute walk away. Victoria Park and the New Walk pathway are nearby too, handy for a run. The outdoor area is convenient, and the staff here are really nice!
