Student Only The Aspen

I had a peaceful stay in a studio and have zero complaints. I felt safe the whole time, and maintenance was prompt. Having both a washer and dryer, as well as a dishwasher, was really convenient. The room was exactly as described and pictured.

The Aspen has a lovely, warm feel, and Sofia always makes us feel welcome. I came for the first time today to join some students for a fun group painting afternoon with @nJoyArtUK. Looking forward to coming back to The Aspen, Novel Stedent Accommodation. Highly recommended.

The staff were always friendly and helpful when I had questions, and the shared spaces were kept in good shape. I stayed in a studio at The Aspen for several months and had a really good experience. It felt safe, with shops and transport close by, which is handy for students. The room was modern and clean, with everything I needed, including a comfortable bed and kitchen area. I’m grateful for my stay and would recommend it to students looking for somewhere nice to live in Leicester.

The studios and shared areas were cosy, the gym was nice though I wish it were bigger, and everyday things like collecting post and getting rid of rubbish were easy. The location was handy too, close to the station, city centre, university and plenty of bus stops. But management and maintenance were awful. I kept reporting problems and nothing got sorted, and illegal activity by some students made me feel unsafe. The same group was often noisy and kept setting off the fire alarm, so it was hard to enjoy the facilities. I left several months before my contract ended because I’d had enough of staff doing nothing. The building itself was nice, but the staff were horrible.
