I had breakfast here on 31 March 2026 and really enjoyed it, it was delicious. Louisa looked after me so well, and Jane the housekeeping manager and amber keep the place spotless. Yamina helped me too, though I hope I've spelled her name right. I've been to Fox for lunch with a client before and remember having a great meal. It's a lovely place for breakfast or lunch, with a great team and service. They always make you feel welcome.

The room looked great, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I had a great stay and would happily recommend it. Just two tiny things: the curtains and netting were noticeably dirty, and my early shower at around 5am before work had very poor water pressure. It was perfect the evening before, so I assume the time of day was the reason.

Jude was on the ball and super efficient, and the food, drinks, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. It was another brilliant meal and I'll definitely be back. The toilets were a bit smelly, though, and could use a quick deep clean or a diffuser.

We had a lovely Sunday roast at what has become one of my favourite pubs. The food was amazing and I loved the atmosphere. After eating in the restaurant, we sat back and relaxed in the garden with drinks.

We started the Friday evening with a drink in the lovely pub garden, which has an outside bar. Dinner was delicious, and the menu felt different, especially the vegetarian option. The service was welcoming and friendly, and we finished with a great Irish coffee. Thoroughly recommend it.
