The apartment smelled strongly of smoke, and there was mold throughout, including in the walls, bathroom, fridge, and sink. The sink was disgusting. There was only one working window in the whole place, which felt like a basement, and none in the bedroom. Old food was stuck to the toaster and cooking utensils, and I found hairs from previous guests around the toilet and on the bed. This should never be offered for booking. It’s an absolute health code violation.

The place stayed dry and warm, which was good. It’s self-contained, and while the kitchen is small, it works for a couple of days. We didn’t think it had been cleaned, though, and it needs some work.

The bedroom was at a higher standard than the lounge, kitchen, and bathroom. It’s an okay place to sleep after an event at Hampden, but it was quite cold. The street and entrance weren’t well lit.

Just what we needed. The beds were comfy, the apartment felt cozy, and the Wi-Fi worked well. We also liked having Netflix on the TV. 😁

The flat was okay, but the toilet is wedged into such a tight space that I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re large.
