Eastfield Lodge

Henry was on hand for questions and nothing seemed too much trouble. He also gave us helpful ideas for places to visit, and our favourite was the Blue Lion in East Witton. We stayed in The Den and The Holt for two nights while touring the UK, arriving after a drive from Chester, and Henry gave us a warm welcome and got us settled in. Both were spotless, with lovely quality sheets and linen, and the shower had great pressure. Fresh coffee was waiting for us too. Easy Giles was very dog friendly, with treats and a water bowl left out, though we paid an extra charge. It's a brilliant find and so quiet. We liked seeing quiet hours set from 22.00 to 08.30. If you're after peace and quiet, this is a lovely place to stay. We won't be disappointed? We will return. Bravo, Henry and Penny!

Penny and Henry made our group feel welcome and looked after us so well. We had a brilliant guided walk in the dales with Penny on Saturday. She was fun, knew her stuff, and made the day a pleasure. I'm already checking dates for another long weekend with a different group later this year. The Lodge is beautiful and spotlessly clean. There are lovely places to spend time together, from the lounge with its fire to the big dining room for meals or games, the well stocked kitchen, and the bar room for a cocktail. Our pristine bedroom had a lovely front view, its own bathroom, and tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was out of this world, with loads of choice. We went for a fry-up each day, and there were great options for vegetarian and vegan guests too. There wasn't a single part of our stay at Eastfield Lodge that fell short of five stars.

Eastfield Lodge, The Holt, and The Den were perfect for our wedding party. Henry and Penny were so accommodating and made everyone feel at home. The spaces were beautifully maintained, equipped with what we needed, and worked really well for a group celebration. Every detail seemed covered, and nothing was too much trouble. We're very glad we chose to stay here and would readily recommend it.

We spent two nights at Eastfield Lodge Guest House with friends, and the breakfasts each morning were delicious, with something to suit everyone's taste. The location made it easy to get to local attractions, and the views over the surrounding area were stunning. After our days out, we loved relaxing together in the cosy shared spaces. From arrival, the warm welcome made us feel at home. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and our rooms were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, with all the amenities we could ask for. The stay exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for somewhere comfortable and enjoyable to stay with friends, I'd wholeheartedly recommend it. We'll definitely return to stay with Penny & Henry!
