Low Raisgill B&B

The view from our bedroom was stunning, with sheep grazing on the hillside, little birds visiting a feeder, and a natural backdrop of trees, rocks and greenery. The garden had lovely herbaceous borders, a neat lawn and stone walls, and it was so peaceful. Hazel and Keith were lovely hosts and made our stay really enjoyable. The welcome was warm and friendly, breakfast was delicious, and the room was spotless, the cleanest B&B we’ve stayed in. The decor was beautiful, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the linen was lovely. The shower room was spacious and gleaming.

We had a lovely two-night stay at Low Raisgill. It’s peaceful, with beautiful scenery, great walks, brilliant breakfasts and good local food. Hazel and Keith are great hosts with lots of local knowledge, and the accommodation is beautiful, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Didn’t want to leave!

The garden was a lovely place to sit, and the views across the surrounding area were spectacular. We had a wonderful three-night stay at Low Raisgill. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed, and we felt welcome as soon as we arrived. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, and there are lovely pubs just a short drive away. Nothing to fault, and we’d definitely book again. I wish every B&B were like this.

The cottage is in such an idyllic spot, and Hazel and Keith made us feel right at home. Breakfast was one of the nicest I’ve ever had. Can’t fault the place, 10/10.
