Oak Lodge Bed & Breakfast

We stayed four nights in the twin room with conservatory. The room was lovely, the beds comfortable and everything spotless. The conservatory was worth the extra, with beautiful valley views over a well-kept garden. It was lovely watching the birds and rabbits. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and a delicious fresh fruit salad. Milk, orange juice and water were available to help yourself to, each in separate bottles. John and Lynne were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We’ll try the self-catering option next year, if we can get in.

We stayed here on 26 August 2018 and it was fantastic. The location in Leyburn is excellent, with views to die for. The hostess is a lovely, bubbly lady, and breakfast was lovely with loads of choice. Everything was perfect, especially the cleanliness. The attention to detail stood out, from shower gel in the bathroom and milk in the fridge to wine glasses. I’d definitely recommend it.

The house has stunning views and is in a lovely location. I got a warm welcome on arrival and was shown to my room. Breakfast was lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. I travel a lot, and this is the first time I’ve felt compelled to review somewhere I’ve stayed. I’d come back, next time for pleasure rather than business!

The valley views from the lovely room are stunning. It had all the mod cons, including a large, well-appointed shower room. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order, with plenty of cereals, fruit and yoghurt to choose from as well. Hope to return.
