Great communication throughout, and it’s a lovely dog-friendly place to stay. The location works well for walks in the Yorkshire dales, and it’s also close to Catterick Garrison if you need somewhere cosy while visiting family who are working or training there.

Parking is across the road at the Village Hall, and the quiet spot is an easy walk from the village for supplies. The cottage was warm, clean and cosy, with a lovely arrival hamper, a dream of a bed and everything we needed in the kitchen. There’s beautiful scenery, plenty of walks and friendly locals. It’s dog-friendly too. We’ll definitely come back!
