Vicky and her staff were friendly and very helpful during our family meal at the Old Royal George. The woman who served us was extremely busy but worked hard to look after us. We'd happily recommend the place and look forward to visiting again.

All four of us would happily visit again. The pub has fine food at very good prices, a great pint of Guinness, a polite bar owner, and friendly, pleasant staff.

We stayed in the family room, which had a comfortable bed, a lovely shower and bathroom, a cot, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The chalets are at the back of the pub, away from the road and pub noise, so it's very quiet. Our room was clean and spacious, and the outdoor table and chairs were a lovely bonus. The landlady was kind, friendly and welcoming. The pub and restaurant were superb, with delicious food and a very tasty breakfast. A fantastic little gem, and we'd recommend staying here.

There were four of us for Sunday lunch on 22/2/26, and we all agreed it was one of the best we've had. It came to £50 per couple.

The pie was great, and the pub had good food and friendly staff. We stayed overnight while visiting the Dales, and the location was just close enough for us. Our room was clean and comfortable, and it was good value for money.
