We booked almost a year ahead for a wedding at Drenagh Estate, then arrived to find out from the residents that the place had stopped operating as a guest house more than a year earlier. A family was living there and renting from the landlord, who had previously run the guesthouse. Our booking had been confirmed, and Expedia sent another confirmation 48 hrs before check-in, but it was cancelled at the last minute. That completely ruined our day. With so little notice we couldn't find another place to stay, so we drove 1.5 hrs home late at night and couldn't toast the happy couple because we had to drive. It's sincerely disappointing, and the owners haven't even apologized.

The views are stunning, and local amenities are only a few miles away. The service was highly professional and the accommodation outstanding. I'd highly recommend it for anyone wanting a couple of nights away.
