Best Western Plus Bentley Hotel & Spa

Sophie and Olivia at reception were so kind and helpful during a really emotional few days around my mum’s funeral. We stayed from 2 June to 4 June, and when our little dog had an emergency on the second night, they sorted things out so she could stay with us without any fuss. Everyone was friendly when we had a few drinks in the bar. The hotel was lovely and our room was perfect. ❤️

Sophie really made a difference to our stay. She was friendly, professional and attentive, and went out of her way to help us. The whole team made us feel welcome, and we’ll be back soon and recommending the hotel to friends and family. We had a spotless, comfortable room with everything we needed for a relaxing night. The atmosphere was warm from start to finish. Thanks again to Sophie and everyone there!

The conservatory was full of lovely daylight, so it worked really well for photos, and the venue has loads of space. The garden couldn’t be used because of the weather, but the wedding coordinator pointed me to other outdoor spots we could still use. There’s plenty of parking, and the separate bars let the wedding have its own space away from the main hotel. I photographed a lovely wedding here last year. The team were kind and helpful, and really attentive to the couple. I’m looking forward to coming back to photograph more weddings.

We didn’t try the hotel facilities, so I can’t say anything about the food. There’s a McDonald’s, smokehouse restaurant, Wetherspoons, garden centre and garage just a stone’s throw away. The place could use some updating, though it suited us perfectly and we’d stay again. We were here for one night with our dog. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, the bathroom a decent size, and the staff were friendly, polite and professional. The £10 dog charge wasn’t excessive.
