The setting is quiet and rural, with farms opposite, and there’s a private outdoor deck that’s lovely on a sunny day. The drive down is a track. It’s great that dogs are allowed, though you’ll need to watch yours on the deck because the fence is low enough for them to jump over. The beds were alright, and the broadband was very slow. There’s no fibre service available there, so that’s not really something they can help. Inside, it’s a spacious holiday house with everything we needed, and the pool table was good fun. Looe is about 15 minutes away by car. Pelynt has a Spar convenience store around 10 minutes away, while the Morrisons in Liskeard is about 15 minutes away. The best dog-friendly beach we found was Par Sands Beach PL25 5DS, roughly a half-hour drive.
