Liverpool Luxury Apartment

I’d give no stars if I could. I’d planned and paid for this Liverpool trip months ahead for my wife, our three children, and me. On departure day, I got a message saying the accommodation had cancelled, with no explanation. I had to find somewhere else in a rush and pay for it myself. There was no penalty for the accommodation cancelling that day and no compensation for us. It took five days for my money to return to my account, while I’d already had to cover the replacement stay. I contacted booking.com, but they only refunded me and didn’t think there was a problem. I’m leaving the platform. When a platform loses sight of who brings in its money, that’s something to worry about.

We were there for a stag weekend, and the location was perfect. The apartments are really nice, well equipped, and have comfortable beds. Check-in was hassle-free. I’d highly recommend them for a big group.

We were six people and everyone had a bed. The apartment has two showers and two toilets, which worked well for a group, plus a big kitchen with a tall fridge freezer and a smart TV that was handy for the kids. It’s right in the city centre, with bars and restaurants on the doorstep and the railway station within walking distance. The keynest is very close, making key collection and drop-off handy.

We had a great time in and out of the apartment. Parking is directly beneath the building, and the location was good. The parking and access instructions seemed a little confusing at first, but we got past that. For four people, more than one toilet roll would have been appreciated; otherwise, no downsides.
