Sharon at reception was attentive and really helpful without hovering. The room itself was spacious, with a table, chairs and a very comfortable bed. I liked having a fridge with things to buy, including wine and champagne. They cost more than in a shop, but the convenience made it worthwhile. I'd happily stay again.

The staff were lovely, and the room was clean. It was also very cheap, which is pretty much why I gave it three stars. Finding the place was difficult: the entrance had just an A4 sheet of paper marking it, and I didn't spot it until someone pointed it out. The mattress was awful, with every spring noticeable. The old, faded sheets were clean, and there were two pillows, at least. The shower pressure was weak, and the floor in the shower room was dangerously slippery. They should fit non-slip tiles or leave an extra towel to stand on. The doors are packed close together and make a lot of noise as they unlock, open and shut. I woke up whenever someone went in or out of their room.

It's a fun, quirky place, though anyone needing total silence to get to sleep early might want to look elsewhere. There's a nightclub downstairs, and you can hear it, but it didn't bother me. I can see the rooms getting quite warm in summer, although they've provided fans.

The staff were incredibly nice, especially the guy on overnight duty. The place is cheap and cheerful, but the photos make the rooms look cleaner and more spacious than they are. You share the shower and toilet, too. Fine for one night or a piss-up, but I wouldn't want to stay longer. A few small changes could make it a hundred times nicer. :)

The room was large, with a big bed, and the staff were friendly. The mini bar was cheap, too, but that didn't make up for the heat or the noise. The on-site nightclub stayed open until 4am, and at £99 for a Saturday night, I can't recommend it.
