Radisson Blu Hotel Liverpool

We finally got into our room at 5 pm, after being sent away to make our own arrangements because nothing was ready. At check-in, the room was full of mold. The manager said we'd have to wait over an hour for another one, then said there'd be no housekeeping before 3 pm and no room to give us, even though check-in was at 2. We were exhausted, and the manager didn't apologize or offer so much as a coffee. The replacement room was moldy too. A woman at reception did offer us drink vouchers, which was kind of her. We asked the next day for an extra 30-60 minutes to check out and were told they couldn't because guests were arriving. After all that, the service felt horrible. This was my worst Radisson experience, and I wouldn't recommend it. The hotel is worn out, moldy and filthy.

We keep coming back to Radisson Blu when we're in Liverpool, usually once or twice a year for stays of 4 to 11 nights. We love the city and always feel at home here. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are lovely. Everyone we've met on staff has been kind and eager to help, some of the nicest people we've come across. A couple of ideas for the manager or owner: show Liverpool matches on the big lobby screen and maybe put minibars in the rooms. We plan to return in 2026.

The staff were really friendly and the service was great. The building felt a bit tired, though it is being refurbished. I arrived late and just wanted a simple dinner, but the seed bread was actually white bread with moldy specks. Breakfast wasn't anything special either. The scrambled eggs were watery, though there was an okay selection.

The view was as described, the bed was super comfortable, and they were accommodating with my other requests. Breakfast had what I needed, though I did miss having mushrooms. Happy to say it didn't disappoint again. Thanks, we'll be back.
