Beatles Themed Hotel

We booked this place as a hotel through Expedia and drove five hours to Liverpool, only to find it wasn’t a hotel at all. It appears on a few hotel sites, but there was no reception or staff when we arrived, and nobody answered the phone. Expedia is now aware of the scam, and it has been removed from their listing. We’d travelled for a friend’s 40th birthday. By the time we and Expedia realised we’d been scammed, we couldn’t book anything else. Liverpool were playing at home and it was also Comic Con, so there were literally no rooms left anywhere in Liverpool. A horrible experience. Now we’re driving another five hours home, totally scammed.

To get in through the main entrance, go straight to the electronic lock on the right and ignore the key box. Your room key will be waiting at the room door. You won’t get this information when you book, so I hope these directions help you get in and enjoy your trip!

The link for making a refundable payment doesn’t work. They wouldn’t help and just told me to cancel, but I’ve still been charged. I’ve escalated it with the booking platform. Fraudsters.

There’s a fun theme here, and it’s only about a 15-minute taxi ride from the centre.
