The Hanover Hotel

The staff were extremely friendly, and the location was great. Outside noise is mentioned several times, so I knew about it. To be fair, it wasn't as bad as I'd expected.

The only downside was the nighttime noise from nearby nightlife. I'd read about it in earlier reviews and came prepared with earplugs. With the windows closed, it wasn't too bad. Otherwise, it was a really enjoyable stay. It's a great little hotel, well run, with spotless rooms and staff who are helpful and happy to go the extra mile. Breakfast was included and made to order. I'd highly recommend it.

Loved the hotel's location and name, and the staff and service were brilliant. I'd recommend staying here and would come back.

We're two older best female mates from Western Australia and spent the last few nights here. The hotel is a bit quirky and old, but we just loved something about it. The staff were absolutely fabulous and so friendly, especially Shelley, our favourite young barmaid with dark hair. Breakfast, the full English, was fantastic. There's a bar down the side with karaoke until quite late. The music was fabulous, but shut your window, lol. We loved all the Beatles memorabilia and met some really lovely people. We'd stay again.
