The staff were young, but really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast had an excellent range of choices, and it was a cozy spot for drinks or afternoon tea. The hotel has spacious rooms with luxury bath amenities, and its intimate boutique feel goes well with the gorgeous Art Deco architecture and decor. It was renovated three years ago and feels wonderful in every way. The location is the best in the city.

The spa was really relaxing, with excellent facilities and a pool. We spent two nights here and the hotel is beautiful, living up to its five-star rating. Check-in came with a warm welcome, the room was stunning, the bed comfortable and the modern bathroom immaculately clean. The staff were attentive too. We'd highly recommend it and will definitely return.

The staff made the day feel wonderful, they were so warm, welcoming and accommodating. The afternoon tea was the best we've had, especially the warm platter starter, and the scones were fluffy and light. We enjoyed the spa facilities too. The one drawback was getting a drink: there weren't any staff around to take the order, and it took about 30 minutes for the drinks to arrive. We had to go looking for someone about the sugar for our coffees, which took another 15 minutes, and I think they'd forgotten it. Not the end of the world, but perhaps a QR code for table orders and bringing sugar with the coffee would help.

Adam from the concierge team took such good care of us during our honeymoon and made everything feel seamless and comfortable. Jamie was a delight, warm and full of positive energy. He shared great tips about the city and Liverpool FC, and his genuine enthusiasm made every chat enjoyable. We looked forward to seeing him, and he added a personal touch to our stay. Emma at the spa was kind, attentive and welcoming, making sure we felt relaxed and cared for. Her advice and warm personality made the experience even more special. Alex and Naomi greeted us at reception with warmth and professionalism, setting a lovely tone from the start. The whole team went above and beyond, and the service exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful stay at the Liverpool Municipal Hotel, and will most definitely be back. Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable.
