We were working around the corner and stayed one night. After we finished, the owner called with instructions for getting in, and access was easy. The rooms were modern and clean, with towels, a kettle, tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits provided. You could have a shower or a bath, and there was a fridge and microwave in the hall to use. There’s a nice pub serving food up the road, with Mcdonalds and Dominoes next door. For this price range, I really don’t know what more people expect. I’ve paid more for much worse places. For a B&B, I’d give it 10 out of 10.

The outside looks horrible and doesn’t give a good impression, but my room was clean, quiet, and had a good mattress. I parked my minibus right outside the window, which kept the boss happy about vehicle security. Ann was great and helpful. The shared bathroom and shower were really clean, and there are good places to eat very close by, including a very good value Chinese takeaway about five minutes’ walk away.

Getting to the BnB at night was quite an experience, but I had a nice stay and would go back. The lady was very polite and helpful. Thanks again, and I hope we can get a room when we return to Liverpool.

We had everything we needed, and the rooms and bathrooms were spotless. The beds were so comfortable. The location worked really well after the Grand National, with lots of facilities and a train station close at hand. Thanks for taking such good care of us, Anne. xxx

I stayed overnight to see my friend's band play at Cavern. The rooms are nice, and it’s handy for food outlets and a train station.
