The wine tasting with Steve was a real highlight. We learned about different wines and the history of Jabajak Vineyard, then had a delicious dinner in the restaurant. We stayed two nights in the Garden Suite for my boyfriend’s 26th birthday. Even though we arrived late, Nicole was there to welcome us so warmly. Breakfast the next morning was delicious too. Thanks to Nicole, Steve and Lewis for making the birthday memorable. We’d love to come back! 💖

The setting was lovely and so quiet, and the owners made us feel very welcome. We had dinner here on Saturday, and as a local who’s tried plenty of restaurants, I’d say this is the best by far. The brown-haired woman serving and working behind the bar was so polite, one of the nicest waitresses I’ve had. Sorry we didn’t catch her name. We’d absolutely recommend it and will definitely be back.

The service really made the evening, with everyone being so friendly and helpful, especially Phineas. Dinner was incredible, including the vegetarian dishes, and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The wine was lovely as well. Thank you!

The beautiful countryside nearby has plenty of places to visit, and I really enjoyed their home-produced wine. We had a comfortable, clean room and a warm welcome at this cosy place. Dinner was excellent, and the service was first class throughout. We also had drinks in the bar before and after our meal, then a delicious breakfast. I appreciated how readily they adjusted dishes for me and offered kind, helpful suggestions. A great stay and meal.

The staff are brilliant, and the food is packed with flavour. It’s a hidden local gem in a stunning spot, with a cosy, intimate restaurant. I’ve been countless times over the years, and it’s still one of my all-time favourites. Always 10/10, highly recommended.
