We had a midweek summer holiday break for my birthday, and my mum let the hosts know. They set our breakfast table up specially, which was lovely and thoughtful. They were also lovely with my children and really accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, and we felt like we'd made friends with the hosts. The service was excellent, and they were so friendly and helpful. I have no cons from our stay. We'll be back and I'd recommend it 100%.

Betty was a fantastic host, and breakfast was amazing. She kept us entertained with stories and jokes, drove us around, and helped sort things out when I forgot something. I had such a great stay that I would have stayed longer if I could. You know the saying about being a jack of all trades. Betty is master of them all.

Betty and Ian made us feel at home and looked after us so well. Breakfast was a real bonus, with fruit, yogurts, and cereal to start, a great full English, and lots of other choices. The rooms are cleaned daily and topped up with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and even bottled water. We'll definitely come back.

Four of us stayed for a weekend in June 2022, and we're definitely planning to return. Ian and Betty gave us a very warm welcome and were helpful with suggestions for places to visit. The place was spotless, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. We really appreciated their welcome and all the attention to detail.

I've stayed in dozens of guest houses over the years, and this one is the best. The garden is gorgeous and a lovely place to sit, and the breakfast was cooked perfectly. My room and bathroom were cosy and spotless, and I got a fantastic welcome. There were bedside lamps bright enough for reading, plus a bathroom shelf for toiletries. That shelf matters to me because I hate having nowhere to put my things. I'll be back very soon.
