The food was good, plentiful, and basic, and there’s a swimming pool nearby, along with the theatre and pier. The hotel feels homely, though a little frayed around the edges, and the bathrooms are tiny. I asked for a view and got a room overlooking the coaches, but I could at least see the nearest shops from the back window. They don’t seem very considerate of solo diners who’d prefer a window seat or a quiet spot. Some hotels are better about that.

We’ve spent our Christmas holiday here five times now, and the staff are always so accommodating. They’re happy to help with anything, and there’s a good range of food at every meal. The roast potatoes were the one downside: the outside was so hard they were difficult to cut. I don’t eat potatoes myself, but my husband and plenty of other guests had the same problem. There was still more than enough food to fill up on. A second-to-none holiday, well done to everyone involved. Excellent hotel and staff. 👏 👍

I’ve just had a very pleasant four-day stay. The hotel was lovely and clean, and all the staff were marvellous and helpful. Restaurant service was great, and the food was very good. Mandy from the kitchen always checked that my meal was right. The only problem was that the roast potatoes were hard.

The sea view from the room was the best part, and checking in was quick with friendly service. It’s quiet and easy to get around, so I can see it being great for retired people. The room felt old and a bit dated, and breakfast was disappointing, too small to fill me up, so I had to eat out as well. For what we paid, I expected a bit more from the stay.
